Wollongong Plunge Pools concrete water tanks are engineered and manufactured to the highest of standards. They have been independently engineered to Australian standards. In addition to water harvesting and storage, our tanks are suitable for a wide range of applications including water retention/detention and water treatment applications. These affordable concrete water tanks are designed and manufactured at our factory to suit your requirements.
Why concrete?
Reinforcing
Australian made full height graduated continuous tank-mesh. Our single overlap reinforcement design ensures complete concrete cover and improved strength and durability, compared to standard mesh sheets with multiple joins.
Strength
High cement content means that Allcast Precast concrete tanks typically achieve a minimum strength rating of 50mpa @ 28 days. This significantly eliminates concrete blisters and air bubbles during manufacture - noted by the smooth finish on the surfaces of our tanks.
Manufacture
The entire range of Allcast Precast tanks are monolithically poured (walls and floor together) under constant form vibration to improve concrete density. This improves strength, and importantly eliminates wall and floor joints and water retention issues.
Fire fighting tanks
Solutions can be aesthetically designed and seamlessly incorporated into your property, with provisions made to accommodate the required camlock connections for compatibility with Australian fire-fighting equipment.
Benefits of concrete tanks
Concrete walls ensure excellent insulation resulting in fresh cool water - this reduces the opportunity for algae and bacteria growth within your tank. Concrete tanks do not melt, rust or cave in due to surrounding ground pressure. Fire resistant, long lasting and low maintenance.
